The Preschool of Whitehouse United Methodist Church

• Established in 1969 as a self-supporting, non-profit Nursery School
• Housed in education wing of the Whitehouse United Methodist Church
• Dedicated to furthering the social, emotional, and academic growth of our community’s children
• Fully licensed by the State of New Jersey
• Emphasizes the Christian principles of daily living while developing a positive attitude towards learning and school

Program

• Offers 2-1/2 and 3 hour programs for children ages 2-1/2 to 5
• Offers 2, 3, 4 and 5 half-day programs depending on child’s age
• Self-contained classrooms with 2 adults per 14 children
• Programs include circle time, free-play, fine and gross motor activities and snack
• 1/2 day afternoon Kindergarten Enrichment program

Curriculum

• Has well established developmentally appropriate curriculum
• Taught by college degreed state certified teachers and fully qualified assistants
• Fosters language development, critical thinking skills, and creative imagination
• Offers large, fenced outdoor playground and indoor playroom for large muscle development
• Pre-K curriculum offers ample opportunity for reading and math readiness skills as well as computer instruction
• Supplemental classes available
